Ethan is now a "Big Boy." I put him to bed last night and a few minutes later heard him jumping on his bed and then a little "knock, knock, knock" on his bedroom door. He has mastered climbing out of his crib. He climbed out 3 times last night and again this morning then stood at the crib side and yodeled for me to come get him. He's smart about how he gets out too. I waited by the door until I heard him get his leg over the edge of the crib and opened the door to watch the final descent. He puts his leg over the rail and lowers himself down to the mattress again then steps down the last little way. I guess I'm glad he's safe about it! He denies any actions he knows will
get him in trouble, but we caught him in his escape! We were offered a toddler bed and may have to go get it before we're ready!Ethan is also helping himself to "juice." He asked me for some milk this morning and I must have taken longer than he wanted me to. He walked over to the fridge, grabbed out the milk carton and his cup, and brought it to me. Where did my little boy go and what do I do about him climbing out of bed???

Aw how cute! My parents have a picture exactly like that of me climbing out in my diapers :) He's becoming very independant!
I can't believe he is climbing out. At least though, he won't leave his room. I would opt for the toddler bed and jelly beans worked for us to keep Aiden in bed. At least for about 6 months. Now he gets up but still won't leave his room.
It's the beginning of the end of any control you thought you had.
