Autumn Wonder

The leaves were at their peak, the weather was warmer and we had an afternoon off. We loaded up a picnic and headed up the canyon.

We went to Cascade Springs to take in the beautiful leaves, peaks, and valley views. The colors were amazing.

We planted ourselves at our favorite picnic site and waited for our friends to join us...a little tic tac toe canyon style made the wait more bearable. It was a great evening filled with roasted hot dogs, s'mores and fun.

The grand finale was seeing 3 moose! A Mommy, Baby and Bull moose walked down the middle of the road right next to our picnic site. Bob, Ethan and I followed them trying to get a better look while Avery perched herself on a big boulder "a little bit nervous!" Good thing Lori was there to comfort her...her own mom loves seeing wild life!
