Ethan failed his eye exam at his 5 year doctor visit so we had to make an appointment with an ophthalmologist. He was a little nervous at first. I could tell from the preliminary exam that he wasn't seeing as well as he should.
They dilated his eyes, which he handled pretty well, and determined that he indeed will need glasses-next year, when he's in school and really needs to see stuff! He was excited to get to keep his awesome new sunglasses!

Poor guy! He'll be amazed though how different things look when he can see!
