The mountain on the other side of "our canyon" caught fire a few weeks ago. It was a quick moving fire close to houses, big houses. The mountain was so steep they brought in the tanker planes. The pilots were amazing. There were 4 planes swooping and banking along the face of the mountain.
We went over to Aunt Jenny's house to watch the "show." Simply amazing. It was a show like no other.
Thankfully after countless hours of fighting and a little rain the fire was put out without much structural damage and no houses lost.
