Pink, Pink and More Pink

Our little girl and I were showered with amazing gifts at a baby shower last weekend. It was so fun to sit and visit with friends and family and celebrate our daughter's pending arrival.

Ethan wanted to stay at the shower and help open up "your sister's" gifts. (He calls her "your sister" since that's what I always say.) But once daddy told him he could help fix a broken pipe at Granddad's he was OK with opening a few fabulous gifts sent for him from Gram and Papa and heading off with the boys leaving just us girls in a sea of pinks, purples, and all things frilly!

We were given so many wonderful presents...clothes, books, toys, blankets, bows, and girly things. I am getting more excited for a little girl to join our family. It was fun to do a load of entirely pink laundry...even the lint catch was pink.

Only 2 more weeks and we will go from 3 to 4 evening out boys and girls in our family. Bob and I have finally done some real discussing of girl names and have a short list now that we are hoping to narrow down to one before she gets here! If not Baby Allen is always an option.

I love that your lint from the dryer was pink! I love pink and hope that some day I will have a little girl I can dress in pink dresses. For now I am getting lots of fun things in blue. Good luck with the next few weeks. I know you are getting excited!
