Too Cool

We've been excited to have a little bit warmer weather here for the last couple of weeks. We love to find ways to keep cool...How do we do it you ask???

The local splash park! We love it. It's close, free and is a great way to cool off young kids.

Avery loves to play in the shallow rocky river. She's discovered the geysers in the rocks and recently learned how to splash mama with the water flow! Smarty pants!



Ethan loves the splash pad best. He stands over the sprinkler heads waiting for the rush of water to squirt up and shower him.


And a trip to the splash pad wouldn't be the same without a stop for Shaved Ice. I love shaved ice and recently introduced the kids to it...what do they think? See for yourself!

On our less adventurous days we cool off in our own back yard with friends and lots of water...

a wiggly sprinkler, the kiddie pool, a bucket of water and lots of squirt guns,







and the Slip N Slide! Not to mention watermelon slices and Popsicles.

When it's hot, we make the most of it and love every minute!
