We love Moyle Park, so much that we've been so many times in the last 4 years that the women who run the activities recognize us all. Almost like celebrities. It's a great cousins' outing.
We did our usual favorite activities....
Candle Making

Butter Churning

This year we met a spinster and learned about the 4 kinds of thread the pioneers used: wool, cotton, flax, and silk. The kids got to hold a silk worm cocoon.

and Stilt Walking

We also got to grind our own wheat.

Finally the little girls pulled for all they were worth, but ultimately lost to the big boys in a tug of war. I hope the pioneers had as much fun as we did!
