Battle Creek Falls Hike

Last weekend for our Family Outing we geared the kids up with their own backpacks and headed out on a hike to a local waterfall I'd read about.

The hike wasn't too hard and both kids walked the whole way. We loved the fish in the reservoir on the way up. Bob was really wishing he'd packed a fly rod.

Finally we got to the falls...beautiful. They were cool, crisp, and exhilarating. We climbed down around the bottom of the falls and cooled off a little before hiking back out.

We love our family time!
