We Love To Craft

I love to craft and have along the way created some fun gifts. The kids have picked up on my obsession and have been converted to "making projects" often. Ethan loves to look through my Pinterest boards as much as I do.

These are just a few of our recent creations...

Rainbow colored "volcanoes" Good old baking soda and vinegar with a little food coloring.

We've done this one a few times...easy for the kids to get out and do themselves and really easy to clean up. We even used the coloring to show some animal tracks.

Bottle Bubble Blowers...thanks to all the bottled water and Diet Coke that gets swallowed up at our house we had a great supply of bottles to use for giant bubble blowing.

We cut our bottles 3 different ways and got these creations out 3 different times with friends. Our homemade bubble solution was just the trick for everyone to create huge bubbles.

Potato Stamping...We're not artists, but Lori and I created some fun potato stamps for the kids to use. It was a real hit with all the kids...

Swords and an ax stamp for the boys and hearts and stars for the girls.

Painted Bread...our latest project was thanks to Ethan looking over my shoulder at 7AM. By 7:30 we were started in on breakfast and a project all in one. We colored milk and the kids painted it on bread before we popped it in the toaster and slathered it with butter. The kids swore it tasted better painted!

We've got a whole jar full of project ideas to choose from thanks to Pinterest!
